I should have graduated college in four years, but instead I took an extra year to have some fun…which I guess is school for me. There is so much to learn. What that really means is I spent a semester in Sydney, Australia, came home to be a snowboard bum in Lake Tahoe, California, and now I’m back to the real world.
I grew up in Marin County, and I thought I wanted to try a city somewhere new after college. I went to Sydney, and loved everything about it…probably because so much reminded me of San Francisco. So now I’m back in one of the greatest cities in the world.
I went through college learning about communication, photography, digital media, and human-computer interaction. Then I found this thing called social media, where I could play with all of these things while communicating with real people!
Now I am the community manager for Livefyre, an embeddable conversation and comment system. I’m pretty much in love with the product, my work, and my team.
I normally spend a lot of time rewriting these summaries, but this time I just wanted to wing it. Seems more natural and honest this way.
